New 20M IMX283 1″ CSI-2 Camera Module
It’s been just a few weeks since the “coming soon” teaser in our last CSI-2 camera family update, and the promise is now a product: meet the 20M, 1-inch IMX283 camera module. The sensor outputs 5496×3672, and it keeps the familiar 22-pin, 0.5 mm-pitch FFC interface, 4 MIPI lanes, with synchronization signals on a dedicated header and same footprint.
Choose the board-level version for custom integrations or the boxed CS-mount model when you need ruggedness and lens flexibility. Both share the same 26mm square PCB, so every mount hole and connector stays exactly where Kurokesu users expect it. Consistent geometry cuts redesign time, keeps multi-camera rigs aligned, and lets you prototype on one sensor and deploy on another without shifting a single screw.

The 1-inch sensor outgrows the image circle of our usual M12 and M12L mounts, so this release debuts a low profile CS-mount housing that takes advantage of larger, readily available C/CS lenses. The enclosure houses the same 26×26mm board as the rest of the lineup, which means you can move it between any Kurokesu CSI-2 module without touching your brackets.
